CBSE Class 12 All-India Topper Meghna Srivastava got 499 marks out of 500, See full merit-list here

CBSE has announced the 2018 Class 12 results and Meghna Srivastava is the CBSE all India topper with 499 marks out of 500. Anoushka Chandra with 498 out of 500 marks is the second all India topper. Seven students with 497 out of 500 marks are in the third position. In 2018, A total of 11,86,306 candidates registered for the Class 12 examination that were held at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres outside the country. The students can access the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th results at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in using their roll number and hall ticket. Overall pass percentage is 83.01 per cent and the top three regions are Trivandrum (97.32 per cent), Chennai (93.87 per cent) and Delhi (89 per cent).

4 Seven students tied on 497/500, Of these seven – one is from Jaipur, 1 from Ludhiana, 1 from Noida, 1 from Haridwar, 1 from Meerut and 2 from Ghaziabad.

Of the 15,674 students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Board exam outside India, 14,881 passed (pass percentage is 94.94%). Now that the Class 12 result is declared, the Class 10 Board results is expected to be announced in two days. “Results for class 10 will be announced either on May 28 or 29. All evaluation has been done, not a single paper’s result will be withheld,” CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi told on May 25.

This year, the CBSE board will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at – digilocker.gov.in, which can be accessed on mobile phones on Android and iOS platforms.

Steps to check CBSE Class 12 exam results 2018:

1. Visit the official websites of CBSE – cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in

2. Click on the link for result 2018

3. Enter your roll number and other required details correctly

4. Click on submit

5. Result will be displayed on screen

6. Take down a print of the result
