After being the video leak of a surgical strike of September 6, 2016, on the border areas, the Congress alleged that the fake nationalist BJP was eager to take advantage of the political and electoral exploitation of the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers. The party also claimed that the Modi government is trying to bake political rotis on the one side of the bravery of the soldiers, on the other hand, he is cutting and discriminating the army’s budget. Congress Chief Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that after the surgical strike, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi supported The Indian Army and the Government. He said that the ruling party must remember that the invaluable sacrifice of our courageous soldiers cannot be made the means of securing votes for the Modi government and the BJP political gain.
Referring to the glorious history of the army, Surjewala said that the Indian Army has always honored the country with its indomitable courage, strength, and sacrifice. The story of the Indian army’s bravery and sacrifice are still on the public’s utterance in the war of 1947. 1961-62, 1965, 1971 and 1999.

The Congress leader said that our brave army has successfully fought several surgical strikes in the last two decades, especially in the year 2000 – 21 January 2000 (Nadala Enclave, across the Neelam river); September 18, 2003 (Baroh Sector, Poonch); June 19, 2008 (Bhattal Sector, Poonch); August 30-September 1, 2011 (Sharda Sector, Kel, Sapphire River Valley); January 6, 2013 (Savan letter checkpoint); 27-28 July, 2013 (Nazapir Sector); The Army had taken action on August 6, 2013 (Sapphire Valley).

Surjewala said that on one hand, Modi Government is trying to take political advantage of the sacrifices of soldiers and surgical strikes of the country, while on the other hand, Government has been failed to provide a strong policy direction against Pakistan and to prevent Pakistan sponsored terrorism. He said that the biggest proof of the failure of the Modi Government is that after the surgical strike, 146 soldiers have been martyred, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire at more than 1,600 times and 79 terrorist activity has happened.
Coincidence that all Channels claim Surgical Strike video exclusive first telecast? Planted for propaganda purpose because strategic moves need to remain confidential to retain surprise element agst enemy? Shabby politics or genuine transparency?
