Arvind Kejriwal slammed central government over Padmaavat row. Today, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal at Chhatrasal Stadium addressed children’s ahead of the Republic Day. In his speech, he expressed his concern over the Padmaavat controversy which is continuing since long. Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue of Padmaavat and said “When they attacked Muslims all were silent, when they attacked Dalits then also all were silent, now they or coming after our children. Can we still afford to be silent?” This statement of Arvind Kejriwal came after the yesterday’s incident over Padmaavat. As yesterday the protestors against Padmaavat have attacked a school bus in Gurugram in which school children were also presented. However, the police had arrested 18 people in the connection to this hilarious attack.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also said that because of such events the country is drowning. And added that he could not sleep in the night since he watched the video of the incident. The controversy behind the Padmavat has now become a serious issue. As the protest has reported on the daily basis across the various states like Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The supporters of Karni Sena and other Rajput organisations are continuously opposing the Padmaavat movie release. They are protesting to shut the Padmaavat release. However, the changes have been made by the censor board. And also the Supreme Court has supported the release of Padmaavat by ignoring the petitions filed by the Haryana and Rajasthan government against the Padmaavat release. Still, the Karni Sena supporters are embarking the protest all over India to stop the Padmaavat release.
However, the movie has finally released after so much controversy and protest. As the Padmaavat protest had expanded day to day, the securities have been deployed over the theatres in Noida and Gurgaon today. Still, the number of audiences were excited to watch the first day first show of the movie.
