Arvind Kejriwal launches scheme to provide financial aid for Coaching to SC, ST and OBC

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal launched a scheme which provides free entrance coaching for SC, ST and other minorities students. Today, the Chief Minister of Delhi launched scheme named “Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana” under which the SC ( Scheduled Caste) and ST ( Scheduled Tribes) students will get free coaching for the preparations for the entrances of civil services, judicial services, banking, engineering, medicine and other competitive examinations. The Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana is for the Delhi’s SC, ST students that provide financial aid for the entrance coaching. Under this scheme, the Delhi government will provide coachings through well known and established institutions.

The Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana will start for the 100 students and extended up to 5000 students. The students who belong from the family with the income of less than Rs 2 lakhs will get 100 percent assistance while students of the family income with Rs 2-6 lakh will get 75 percent assistance. With this, the government will also provide students with a monthly stipend of Rs 2, 500 along with the free coaching. The Arvind Kejriwal while launching the scheme said the Delhi government is transforming dreams of Baba Saheb into action by making education accessible and available to SC, ST’s, OBC, poor and other minorities belongs to the vulnerable section of the society.

Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal also announced that the government will soon launch a scheme to give loans to the poor and needy people for starting their small ventures. In the event of the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana launch scheme, the labour Minister Gopal Rai, deputy speaker Rakhi Birla SC, ST welfare minister Rajendra Pal Gautam, chief secretary Anshu Prakash and other also participated. This scheme launched to help poor section of the Delhi including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, OBC, and other minorities of the society.
