Diwali is about to come before that Air Quality of Delhi started deteriorating. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the air quality of Delhi will worsen in coming days.

Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) examined the Air Quality Index (AQI), of Delhi and it was 190 (moderate category) before Tuesday but it shot up to 219 (poor) on Wednesday and increasing day by day. One reason for air pollution in Delhi is crop burning in near places of Delhi like in Punjab Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Pollution levels in the delhi equally depend on ground activities and the wind pattern.

Whereas unharmed limit of PM2.5 and Pm 10 pollutants are 60 and 100 micrograms per cubic meter respectively.
