Today, the Former Union minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram slammed over Tamil Nadu assembly speaker and government for disqualifying 18 MLAs. On Monday Tamil Nadu assembly speaker disqualified 18 MLA’s supporting AIADMK leader TTV Dinakaran just two days before a high court’s deadline for a floor test by the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Edapaddi Palaniswami. This decision of disqualification emerged by the assembly speaker P Dhanpal. The Former Union minister P Chidambaram tweeted that the speaker’s decision to disqualify MLA’s is blatantly partisan that mean a bad behavior of strong party supporters to help the minority Tamil Nadu government.
The Congress leader P Chidambaram directly opposing the Tamil Nadu government’s decision said no such action can help a sinking ship. And he commented on the politics of Tamil Nadu, referred it as tragi-comedy. However, TTV camp has decided its next action plan that is to move the Madras High Court and they plan to take the legal route by moving to the court.
As per the reports, Tamil Nadu speaker P. Dhanapal disqualified 18 MLA’s of the ruling party’s dissident faction by citing Article 190 of the Constitution. After this later on Monday AIADMK party leader, TTV Dhinakaran claimed that the governor was aware that Palaniswami and Panneerselvam don’t need the required numbers and had delayed a floor test. The Madras government to hold floor test on Wednesday.
Great betrayal: TN Govt should go on the sole ground it callously delayed moving SC for additional 19% seats for OBC.

If TN Speaker is correct, no elected leader of a legislature party can be changed by dissenting MLAs! Once elected, CM for 5 years!

Governor requested to act. He did not! Speaker requested to observe restraint. He acted! TN politics is tragi-comedy
