Superstar Aamir Khan took to micro blogging website and shared his thoughts in writing regarding the latest Rani Mukerjee film ‘Hichki’. Aamir saw Hichki at a special screening at YRF studios who also happen to be the producers of the film and could not stop himself to rave about it on Twitter. Aamir in his tweet mentioned that it is one of the most enjoyable film in a long time and praised the performance of Rani with all the young kids in the film. He also congratulated director Siddharth Malhotra on his commendable efforts.
Aamir last worked with Rani Mukerjee in Mangal Pandey and the film did not fair as well with audience. Rani will be seen in a film after a long time as she was busy being a mother to her new born. Rani is playing the role of someone who desperately wants to be a teacher despite of the fact that she has a speech defect called Tourette syndrome. She can’t wait to be a teacher and play the role of a mentor for her students instead of merely walking out after giving a lecture.
Film is releasing today on 23 March and she can use all the luck in the world as the hype around her film is negligible. Her character in the film gets the opportunity to teach a class of students who are rather notorious as they come slums of Mumbai and have not been formally educated before. She will have to play the role of aprt parent to this children and together they embark on the journey of self discovery in order to fit in the society. Both students and Rani are odd one’s out in the organized system of things but they will have to find themselves and adjust accordingly. Film comes out on 23 March.
