Aadhaar Card linking with the mobile number date has extended to 6th February 2018. And today the Supreme Court to hear the petitions against the Aadhaar Card validity. The centre on Thursday told Supreme Court to mandatory linking of Aadhaar with the mobile number to be done by 6th February. As per the reports, it has also said that the apex court has approved the linkage of Aadhaar card number with the mobile number in the Lokniti Foundation case on 6th February 2017. And the deadline for the mobile number with Aadhaar card linkage cannot be done unilaterally, since it was fixed by the Supreme Court.
However, it is expected that Supreme Court to hear the bunch of petitions that challenging the Aadhaar Validity. And now from 1st December 2017, Aadhaar cardholders can link their Unique Identity Number UID with the mobile number. Although linking Aadhar card is not a difficult task you can just link it from your Home.
The UIDAI provide the one-time pin authentication to the mobile number and email address of the Aadhaar number holder which is registered with Aadhaar. So you just have to access that OTP which received on mobile number and then enter your 12 digit number or Aadhaar number. So, now link your Aadhaar number with the mobile number for the future reference.
