There is finally a new technology that will surround the nation now and that is the 5G technology for the secretaries of ministries of communications, information technology, and science & technology, along with representatives of the industry and academia have come up with an aim to participate in the process of defining global standards. This forum will evaluate and approve roadmaps and action plans with some broader targets of bringing out 5G in India by 2020. The Minister of States for Communications, Manoj Sinha showed a regret of missing the opportunity to participate when the standards were being set for 3G and 4G and so this time he doesn’t want to miss this opportunity of 5G. The 5G technology will certainly help in increasing GDP, creating employment and digitizing the economy.
If reports are to believed,then it is said that it will be a pool venture who will build a corpus of Rs 500 crores and then the research process will take place on it that will include that what kind of spectrum will be needed, what equipments will be required in the efficiency in the efficiency of the technology and also that will be able to roll out the services in rural areas as well as the main aim should be to develop the rural areas as well.
