Automobile company Honda Cars India launched the much-awaited 2018 version of its Amaze with a starting price tag of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base petrol variant on Wednesday. The top-specified diesel Honda Amaze will cost Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available in four variants as the base E, S, V and the top-spec VX in both (petrol and diesel) version like before and there’s no change in the powertrains either. The 90PS, 1.2-litre petrol claims to return 19.5kmpl for the manual and 19kmpl for the automatic variant, while the 100PS, 1.5-litre diesel claims a fuel efficiency of 27.4kmpl average for the manual and 23.8kmpl for the automatic.

2018 Honda Amaze follows the design language of the new-verge age Honda models, especially from the front side. The car looks bold and aggressive with LED daytime running lights, the new headlamps, and new grill with a chrome slat. At the back side, it has C-shape combination tail lamps.
