Finally Sarkar 3 is releasing on this Friday, 12 May 2017. It is an upcoming Indian political crime thriller film which is directed by Ram Gopal Varma. This is the third instalment of the Sarkar film series which starred Amitabh Bachchan again in the lead role along with Ronit Roy, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam. It’s not very often that the star of the millennium goes out of the way when it comes to promoting his films. But Amitabh Bachchan made an exception when the person in question was his dear friend Ram Gopal Varma. Sarkar 3 starring Amitabh Bachchan in the nominal role which has been successful in creating much hype about the film. Initially, it was scheduled to release on April 7, 2017, but the makers pushed the release date forward to May 12, 2017, due to some pending post production work. Amitabh Bachchan is back as the populist, paternalistic ruler of the state. It will be interesting to see Bachchan, whose career took off in the early 70’s, when he played a corruption-busting cop in Zanjeer, followed by a succession of roles as an action hero and “angry young man”.
