Fresh off the legendary success of ‘Arjun Reddy’, Vijay Deverakonda is not stopping himself from cashing in on it by signing some promising films so early in his career. Vijay will start a film on 5 March 2018 co-starring latest Telugu sensation Mehreen Pirzada with him and directed by Anand Shankar. This film will be a Tamil/Telugu bilingual shot simultaneously which basically doubles the work of entire unit but also grabs more number of screens and box office collections upon release. Shoot of the film will begin in Hyderabad with a pooja and apparent release date will be somewhere in the end of 2018.
Title of the film is not out yet as it is being produced by Studio Green. First shot of the film will be taken inside Ramnaidu studio filmnagar Hyderabad at 9:36 am. Mehreen will be working with Vijay for the first time and Baahubali famed Sathyaraj will also be joining the cast in an important role. This will be Vijay’s 14th film so far but second after Arjun Reddy and that’s what matters the most. With a low budget Telugu film he became an internationally famed actor and now has a wider reach in India as well.
Vijay has clearly stated that he might not be doing many Hindi films in the near future because he has finally cracked the Telugu market with Reddy and might want to exploit it now by making films that will be viewed by more number of audience. Mehreen has just started her film career in 2016 and she has already been a part of a horror/drama in Hindi cinema by the name of Phillauri which stars Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh. Phillauri did work it’s magic on the box office and hence Mehreen came back to her territory of Telugu films. Release date and title of the film will be announced some time in the shooting.
