Varun Dhawan revealed the first look of his upcoming film ‘October’ on the lovely occasion of Valentine’s Day. Varun took to micro blogging website and shared the information that he will release one more teaser of the film on 9 March at 11am. First teaser of the film was more like a character introduction to Varun and his co-star with a romantic feel to it that seemed more like a heart break. Varun has not done an out and out romantic film in his career so far and October is here to fill that gap as it is basically a love story.
October is being directed by Shoojit Sircar, who has made some of the classics in last 5 years by the name of Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and Piku. Shoojit has never worked with Varun before but both of them are at the top of their game. Varun has just delivered the biggest solo hit of his career by the name of ‘Judwaa 2’ which has appealed greatly to the masses despite of getting some of the worst reviews of all time and being totally neglected by the niche audience of this country.
Varun is perhaps the biggest young star after Ranveer Singh and he is straitening his career very carefully with all kinds of films. He started his career with commercial films and did a Badlapur to showcase that he is also a good character artist. He again continued his streak of commercially viable films and reached it’s pinnacle with Judwaa 2 but now he is onto two content driven films back to back by the name of October and Sui Dhaaga. Sui Dhaaga will be his next after October and it stars Anushka Sharma as his co-star. Sui Dhaaga is directed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha famed Sharad Katariya and produced by Yash Raj Films.
