Toilet Ek Prem Katha review and rating : Akshay Kumar is just Surpassing

Toilet Ek Prem Katha starring Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Padnekar. The movie has finally hit the theatres after creating a lot of buzz in the social media and much anticipation among the lakhs of their fans with trailer and posters. It is a movie that one should have surely watch as it talks about the most serious issue of India that is an open defecation issue. In one word it is ‘Surpassing’.

The plot revolves around a newly married couple, played by Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar who lives in a rural area. After marriage girls walk out from her husband’s house as the Keshav’s (Akshay Kumar) does not have a toilet and women have to go to open fields to defecate. Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar) is against the idea of defecating in the open so she left the house after that Keshav realises his love for her and he decides to put toilets in the whole village. The movie is basically based on the Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyan scheme.

It starts with comedy that showcased the twists of Keshav life fantastically. And the movie turns more interesting after the marriage of Jaya and Keshav when she demands the Toilet at home and left Keshav alone. The director Shree Narayan Singh amazingly blend the age-old traditions of the village with the demands of newer generation on the need to have toilets for safety and better hygiene of the women. This is a good comedy with information to make people aware of Toilets need. So I just suggest you all, watch it once because it is worthy.
