Toilet Ek Prem Katha garnered 13 crore on Day 1 in Box Office collections. Movie starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer satire film Toilet Ek Prem Katha received a decent response on the opening day. Film directed by Shree Narayan Singh, collected Rs 13.10 crores on opening day, it got released on Friday.

Toilet Ek Prem Katha is an initiative following on lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ for improving sanitation conditions, with an motive to eradicate open defecation completely, especially in rural areas.

Taran adarsh, leading trade analyst tweeted on Saturday of Toilet Ek Prem Katha movie picking up the collections rapidly post noon onwards, Multiplexes have seen a decent and good number. He tweeted , On friday the movie has collected Rs 13.10 crore in India business. Much more is expected during the weekends. As per Taran Adarsh , Independence day can give a big boost on Tuesday to collections because of the holiday season. Film expert Komal Nahta tweeted , Toilet Ek Prem Katha is quite entertaining because of the comic first half. He did’nt like the second half though.
