Tiger Zinda Hai box office collection: Unbelievable week 4, blockbuster

Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai is the fourth biggest blockbuster in the history of Hindi cinema after Baahubali, Dangal and PK. Looking at Box Office Collections, even in it’s fourth week film is doing way better than the current releases like Kaalakaandi and Mukkabaaz. Tiger banked a humble 1.46 crores on Friday but a major leap on Saturday with 2.12 crores. Tiger has already broken the record of Salman’s biggest hit of all time by the name of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and now it is just counting the blessings. Tiger is right on the verge of breaking Yash Raj’s Dhoom: 3 worldwide box office record as it was massive.

On Sunday Tiger Zinda Hai broke the box office by banking 3.27 crores in it’s fourth week which is unprecedented as the film has already earned so much money that it will be a fair assessment to make most of the people coming to watch the film now must be watching it for the second or third time. Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger which was directed by Kabir Khan. One should not be surprise if YRF announces third part of Tiger sometime soon as it is a heavy intellectual property and there are not many heist thriller franchises in India like James Bond or Jason Bourne.

A film needs the enigma and star power of Salman Khan to be of 150 crores production and marketing cost with out much promotion on either TV or web. Tiger has earned 327.07 crores in India and more than 520 crores including the worldwide gross of the film which makes it an incredibly profitable venture as far as return of investment is concerned. According to the reports Tiger Zinda Hai falls very highly on the list of most foot falls seen by Hindi films, list is topped by another Salman starrer Hum Aapke Hain Kaun which was release in 1994.
