Theeram Movie Review 2017 : A Malayalam romantic movie with dreamy songs

‘Theeram’ is a Malayalam movie directed by debutant Saheed Arafath. The movie brings in Pranav Ratheesh, youngest son of yesteryear’s artist Ratheesh. It also stars Maria Yohanan and Askar Ameer in the lead roles. ‘Theeram’ movie is a romantic entertainer that describes the tale of an auto rickshaw driver and a girl who falls in love with him. The Theeram movie cast comprises Tiny Tom, Sudhi Koppa, Anjali Nair, and Krishna Prabha amid others.

The plot is completely based on a common young man, Ali makes an income by riding an auto rickshaw in the night. One day, he meets a woman named Suhra and falls in love with her. He tries to pursue her in diverse ways but something from his past crops up and disturb his present.

Overall the movie songs create a great ambience for the story plot. Most of  romantic track of the movie revolves around the premise of love, and the indescribable feelings amid a couple.Like the opening song, is a rich, dreamy track and the singer’s breeze throughout the pensive music by Afzal, magnificently and assertively. Their soft vocals also assist the couple in doing a remarkable job of executing a track, which is like a romantic daydream in slow motion.Bollywood singer Anweshaa debuts into Mollywood all the way through this movie, singing the duet Minnaminungu with Najim Arshad. One more romantic track by Afzal with a slow flowing rhythm, the song is quite appealing. Anweshaa grips the Malayalam lyrics well enough to allow the listeners focus on the melody, rather than the words. Overall the movie is a decent entertainer but very slow.
