Viswasam starring Thala Ajith is full throttle in production these days as they are eyeing Diwali 2018 release to make sure that it ends up becoming a blockbuster. Director Siva has signed Nayanthara to play the female protagonist in the film because she suits the part and also she has a massive fan following amongst Tamil and Telugu audience. Music director Thaman is booked to compose for the film as he is known to give blockbuster music which helps the film in getting more number of audience.
Ramaiah has been signed to play the supporting role in the film as he has previously done in Veeram and Vedalam. It will be Ajith and Siva’s fourth film together after Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. Veeram and Vedalam were sheer blockbusters not only in Ajith’s career but also in Tamil cinema though Vivegam did not quite meet the same fate despite of being more hyped. Vivegam was an international espionage thriller and massive in budget still it could not find the audience like Vedalam did which was set in Chennai suburbs and all because the script and dialogues of Vedalam were far better than Vivegam, which over-weighed itself in it’s own grandeur.
Veeram is still the highest TRP ever recorded on Television for a Tamil film and similar are the expectations with Viswasam. Makers are eyeing Diwali release while Thalapathy 62 starring Vijay might also release on the same day. Vijay has just given the biggest blockbuster of 2017 by the name of Mersal and his fan following right now is at all time high hence it might not be the sharpest decision to clash both the films. Thalapathy 62 is directed by AR Murugadoss, who has only made blockbusters with Vijay and fandom over that film is gigantic but Viswasam is not less awaited.
