Tabu and Manoj Bajpayee starrer ‘Missing’ trailer out and it is missing some intricate details

Trailer of the suspense thriller ‘Missing’ starring Manoj Bajpayee, Tabu and Annu Kapoor is out in the universe and it looks like Abbas Mustan gone rogue. Film is a story set in Mauritius when the daughter of this couple goes missing due to unfortunate circumstances and officer Annu Kapoor is called to investigate the case. Film decides to seemingly take a sharp turn when the missing child is been suspected to have been kidnapped or rather someone from the family lend a hand in the crime.

Trailer looks very childish and in-the-face with Manoj doing perhaps the worst performance of his career. He is so obviously fumbling with words and making faces which would let a blind snake have a doubt on him let alone an investigator. No man would make things so obvious about their daughter being kidnapped and this si where the film has fallen flat on it’s off. It is genuinely one of the dumbest trailer ever made for a wanna be sharp story but makers could not even keep it together for 2 minutes let alone 2 hours. It just looks like a really bad film where script and direction has fallen flat on it’s face.

India as a country does not really promote formal film education which is why even talented people do not know how to read a script. For something to be on paper and than flash/bones is world of a difference and people don’t know how to fathom that except Aamir Khan and Karan Johar. Extremely talented and experienced actors like Manoj and Tabu fell for such a pathetic direction and not know how to read a film could be the only explanation to it. Textural wise it looks a really sad B-Grade film with any intention but being good and such unique actors fell for this trap.
