Sushant Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘Drive’ wraps the shoot

Drive is an upcoming thriller starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, film has finally wrapped the shoot and it has a release date on 2 March though the news has it that the film is getting postponed because post production will take some time. If Drive releases on March 2 than it will have to clash with Anushka Sharma starrer Pari and John Abraham starrer Parmanu both of which are frequent collaborates of Karan Johar.

Drive is produced by Karan Johar and will focus on a plot which is largely related to car race and characters around it. Shooting of Drive started in November of 2017 though the look of characters is still not revealed yet by the makers. Looking at their schedule it is understandably difficult to release a month later from the last day of shooting. Drive’s clash with Parmanu and Pari will damage all three films considering all are good with content and being liked by the audience. Chances are that Drive and Parmanu will gather most of the opening business and Pari will have to be a slow growth if at all it is appreciated.

Drive will be Sushant’s first film with Jacqueline and Dharma Productions as it is reportedly a massive budget. Hindi film domino has fallen to it’s feet already with the unexpected release of Padmaavat and uncertainty surrounding the final release date of Rajinikanth starrer 2.0. Tarun Mansukhani took to twitter to post a picture with his team of assistants saying that he will miss harassing these freaks and giving them anxiety attacks. As one of the hashtags Manuskhani wrote long roads ahead which clearly signifies that work on the film is far from ever and the crew will have to go full throttle if they want to release the film on it’s actual promised date.
