The full cast of the movie Student of the Year 2 has been announced, and three new posters of the leads have now been released. The movie is being directed by Pulkit Malhotra, who directed I hate Love Stories, and is produced by Karan Johar, who made the the first movie which launched two star kids, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan along with Siddharth Malhotra. Tiger Shroff, who is enjoying the success of his action flick, Baaghi 2, is going to lead the cast, with Tara and Ananya being his female co-actors. The three posters that have been released are the character posters to introduce the cast.
The posters have the characters posing stylishly, and not looking like students at all, but it is still evident that the movie is not going for a realistic portrayal of educational authorities in India, since no one looks or wears clothes like these characters in school or colleges.
Tiger has risen to the superstardom after the unexpected success of Baaghi 2, and it is clear that SOTY 2 is also going to have a decent business because of his star power and people’s interest in these kinds of movies. Tara and Ananya are going to make their movie debut with SOTY 2, and it will be interesting to see if any of them has the potential to be as accomplished an actress as Alia Bhatt has proved herself to be.
