Sridevi prayer meet organized in Chennai, entire family to be present

Daughter of late actress Sridevi Jhanvi Kapoor took to micro blogging website and posted the prayer meet details which is suppose to happen in Chennai as that is Sridevi’s hometown. Prayer meet will be held on Sunday 11 March at Crown Plaza hotel in Chennai Adyar Park. Timing of the meet will be 6-7:30 pm and the entire family including Boney Kapoor, Arjun and Jhanvi will be present. Extend family including Mohit Marwah and Harshvardhan Kapoor will attend the meet for the love and respect of legendary superstar.

News of Sridevi’s demise broke in at the night of 24th February where she was found dead in her bathtub. Initially the cause of death was said to be cardiac arrest but after the postmortem it was certain that she got accidentally drowned. Family and fans were devastated to hear the news of death a she was quite active as a person and had no history of any deadly disease that could have harmed in the longer term. Boney and Khushi Kapoor were in Dubai where the incident happened as the entire family was their for the wedding of singer Mohit Marwah.

Her eldest daughter Jhanvi Kapoor was in Mumbai shooting for her debut film ‘Dhadak’ co-starring Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter. After the death shoot of the film was immediately stopped by the producer/mentor Karan Johar and finally Jhanvi was able to start the shoot because the film has a release date of 12 July. Director Shashank Khaitan took to twitter and posted a picture of himself en-route the shoot of Dhadak. Jhanvi is only doing her first film which is not completed yet and similarly Arjun Kapoor’s mother also died of cancer when his first film was on the verge of a release in 2012. Boney has now lost both his wives and has mentioned that it is a really tough time for the family.
