Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be getting married to each other on 8 May, which is arguably the biggest Bollywood marriage of the year. Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar were hanging out at Anil Kapoor’s residence when the whole bunch of relatives were preparing a dance number to ‘Swag se Swagat’. Many Bollywood stars would clearly be in attendance but some of the close friends lie Ranveer Singh would perform on ‘My Name is Lakhan’ with Arjun Kapoor as he has very famously in the past as well.
Ranveer is a big fan of Anil Kapoor and a very good friend to the family. Varun, who is also again very close to the couple would be performing on some or the other song to increase the hype of this wedding. Jacqueline Fernandez was also there with Varun Dhawan at Anil’s house. Sonam and Anand have been dating for the longest time and finally decided to tie the knot with each other in accordance to Sikh tradition. Wedding would be culturally very traditional as the family has been very rooted. Varun posted a video on Instagram that showcased the rehearsal part of it though Jhanvi Kapoor was not seen in the video.
According to the reports Jhanvi will be performing on the melody of Sridevi’s songs including ‘Mere Haathon Main Chudiya Hun’, which as a matter of fact would be quite emotional. Currently she is preparing for her debut release ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khatter in July, which is produced by Karan Johar who is now a close family friend. Karan was going to produce a film called ‘Kalank’ starring Sridevi but her sad demise stalled the project for just a time being though it is being made now with ‘Madhuri Dixit’ doing her role. Wedding will take place on 8 May.
