Siva is riding high on the critical and commercial success of his latest release Velaikkaran which has certainly expanded his stardom by 3 at least and was sold for a good amount on Television mostly because of his popularity. Velaikkaran worked very well in both Tamil and Telugu market while Siva’s fan have been waiting for the announcement of this film as Siva does not want to miss out on the opportunity to milk his new found stardom.

Seemaraja stars Samantha and Simran Bagga in the important roles. Siva could be seen riding a horse in a victorious way and behind him is the backdrop of a village which clearly states that at least a part of this film is set in the rural area of some kind. Siva’a character in the film is called Seemaraja which was than kept as the title of the film. He is a perfect actor to cast in a medium budget movie as his stardom can guarantee the audience if the content of the film is being appreciated in general.

Seemaraja is directed by Ponram and produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios. Makers have not announced the release date of this film yet as the shooting has not started yet but a star cast of this stature can pretty much guarantee a good opening if the promo is well received. Samantha’s upcoming film is Rangasthalam that stars Ram Charan as the male lead protagonist and will hit the theaters by the end of March. Seemaraja might release soem time around the auspicious festival of Vinayak Chaturthi in 2018 in India at least if not worldwide.
