Director-Producer Rohit Shetty is back again with his Golmaal franchise, this time with Golmaal again, after a gap of seven years. The film is being produced by Ajay Devgn and Reliance Entertainment. The last three Golmaal movies starred an array of actors from Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunaal Khemu to Celina Jaitley, Rimi Sen and Sharman Joshi. The franchise has featured character artists like Sanjay Mishra, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Murli Sharma, Manoj Joshi, Mukesh Tiwari, etc. with many of them returning to the franchise once again. The latest installment in the series, Golmaal Again, is scheduled to hit the cinema halls on Diwali, clashing with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar and Rajnikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, making it a Diwali to look out for from now only.

Departing from the trend of the past two films, Rohit has taken the newly chiseled Parineeti Chopra as the lead against Ajay Devgn (instead of new mommy Kareena Kapoor) in this one with Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunaal Khemu back. The recent addition to the team is acting powerhouse Tabu who has previously acted in comedy films as Herapheri.

The team seemed to have fun while shooting with lots of children as is obvious in this photograph from the sets as shared on the film’s official Twitter handle:

Given its Diwali release the film is in its last stages of production and the shooting has been very strenuous for the actors. Director Rohit Shetty is known for his action sequences, specially those involving cars, and everyone is aware of Ajay’s favoritism towards action as a genre. The stress was quite evident in this tweet Devgn shared a few days ago praying for the shoot to get over as soon as possible:

The film is being anticipated as a blockbuster given the Diwali release. Golmaal movies being comedy flicks, families shall look forward to have a great time in the halls this Diwali. As far as the promotion goes, the team has already released the “Behind the Scenes” for its First Look teaser on Twitter and other social media channels, and by the looks of it the Team has had lots of fun while shooting:

The video has the ever bubbly Parineeti Chopra along with the Star Cast, joking around with Arshad Warsi rightly putting it as “always fun to be on Golmaal sets”. The set seemed like a cool place to work at as Director Rohit Shetty is seen working out in his ever calm and chilled avatar.

Given this phenomenal giggle-packed “Making of First Look” video it can be safely said that Golmaal is indeed back again to make us all ache with laughter. Do catch the movie this Diwali in your nearest Cinema Halls.
