Secret Superstar trailer review; Aamir Khan awaits one more blockbuster
Written by Shubham Dwivedi

Trailer of The Secret Superstar which is an Aamir Khan production was released on 2nd august 2017 to wide appreciation. Film has been awaited for a long time now as the excitement surrounding the film is exceedingly high because Zaira Wasim of Dangal and Aamir Khan would be coming back together one more time. Written and directed by long time associate of Aamir khan, Advait Chandan showcases the story of a school girl Insu (Zaira Wasim) who has a very conservative, alcoholic muslim father who would not let her follow her dream. Insu wants to be a singer in her life as she has been blessed with a magical voice and starts to secretly put her videos on youtube wearing a burkha and gets viral. Trailer starts with Aamir Khan presenting an award (ironically enough) as a tacky over the top music director and later helps Insu in achieving her dream.

He gives a brilliant philosophical  advice to Insu when he looks at the soda in his hand and says that no one can stop talented people they will pop up like bubbles do. Film revolves in the feel good genre which is mastered by Aamir Khan in his films like 3 idiots, PK and Dangal to some extent. Role played by Aamir Khan is very unique as he has never attempted something like this in the past but given his history he will nail this one too.

Despite of the fact that Zaira Wasim is so young and does not come from the film environment, still manages to give these outstanding shots that reminds us that she is here to stay. Trailer has already gone viral and is been received with a lot of heart by the audience, Aamir Khan might just be having another blockbuster in his corner. The Secret Superstar will release on Diwali.
