Sarrainodu Hindi dubbed version garners over 16 million views on YouTube in 4 Days; beating Salman Khan’s Tubelight trailer.

The makers of the 2016 Telugu blockbuster, Sarrainodu starring Allu Arjun and Rakul Preet Singh uploaded the hindi dubbed version of the film on their YouTube channel Goldmine Telefilms and the film has managed to garner over 16 million views in just four days, which is more than the views on Salman Khan’s Tubelight trailer that was unveiled 6 days ago (which has about 13 million views as of now). Now, that is quite something, right? The film also had its world TV premiere on Sony Max on the same day the video was uploaded.

Sarrainodu released on 22 April 2016 and was the highest grossing Telugu film of the year. The plot of the film revolves around this young man, Gana (Allu Arjun), whose job is moral policing. Though his treatment involves violence, he stands by the justice. On that note, how did he end the atrocities of Dhanush (Aadhi Pinisetty), the son of the State’s Chief Minister, who misuses the power to the fullest for his individual benefits? What role does a farmer’s activist (Sai Kumar) and his daughter (Rakul Preet) has to play in this tale forms the crux of the film.

The film which is a typical telugu action masala film, was written and directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts. Made on a budget of approximately 50 crores, the film earned a lifetime collection of 127 crores.

The hashtag “SarrainoduHindiStorm” has been trending on social media platforms, celebrating the incredible response the dubbed version has received on YouTube. The video has also been trending on Youtube in countries like Australia, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bahrain and UAE. This is a testament to the popularity of Allu Arjun who is known as the ‘Stylish Star’ down south in the telugu speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
