Sanju movie song Badhiya: Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor groove to the tune

A new song from the movie, Sanju has been released, titled, Badhiya, which features Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor as a couple in love in the 1980s. However, the song isn’t exactly a love song, as it sees Sanjay Dutt (Ranbir Kapoor) lip syncing to a song, sung by a club singer. Sonam Kapoor arrives later in the song and supports him by lip syncing to the male part of the lyrics. Badhiya is sung by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan is surely going to be another hit number, as the lyrics and beats by the pair. The lyrics from the song were written by  Puneet Sharma and the music is given by Rohan-Rohan.

Sanju is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and is going to be released on June 29. It is one of the most anticipated  movies of the year, as it tells the life story of actor Sanjay Dutt. From his family life, to personal, romantic life to the controversial era of 1993 Bombay Bombings in which Sanjay was accused. The movie is an ensemble, with Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Karishma Tanna, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarb, Dia Mirza playing character’s from Sanjay’s life. The promotional materials from the movie is soon going to kick into overdrive soon, and we’ll get more information about the characters. Expectations are sky high for the movie, with the great cast, and most of Rajkumar Hirani, who is above all, a commercial director, and hasn’t given one flop in his career. so the project is looking to have a very positive effect on everyone involved.

The trailer for the movie was released on last month and get wide acclaim, mostly for Ranbir Kapoor, as his impersonation of Sanjay was lauded for its physical similarities to the actor.
