Salman Khan took to social media and revealed his first character look from the upcoming ‘Race 3’. Salman is playing a character called Sikander who is rather stylish and dapper as they do in the Race franchise. He defined his character by calling him more selfless than selfish but it is kind of a give way for a thriller. Race as a franchise ran upon the fact that there were really Jesus looking people being extremely mean and grey which made it difficult to figure out the end of story till it actually does.
Race use to be a suspense thriller in which there was no hero at all and the worst of the lot would win the game but Salman has been as vocal as it gets about not playing a bad guy on screen as he does not want influence his massive fan following in a bad way which is alright but not for a franchise which inherently banks on people being menacing. Salman also called his mysterious character very selfless which is a trait one might not want to know before hand in a film which is initially dropped on mystique.
Salman has a rather elaborate star cast with him in the film which includes Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Jacqueline Fernandez. The whole platform of the film is changed by Remo as he came on board as the director. Production of the film is currently going on in Abu Dhabi where the team is shooting for a massive action sequence including cars which is the signature style of Race franchise. Film is on the last leg of shooting and post this will only be editing work. Release date of the film is 15 June to milk the festival of EID which has been very fortunate for Salman’s films over the years.
