Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai completes 50 days in theaters

Makers of Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai are gearing up for a wide release in Russia as the film completes 50 days in Indian cinema theaters. Fruit of this labor has been very sweet for Salman as the film turned out to be the biggest success of his already elaborated career. In it’s first week film went onto collect 206.04 crores, which is practically impossible for 95 percent of the films to even think of and word of mouth was also positive around it which gives longevity.

In it’s thunderous second week film proudly banked 85.51 crores and beat the collections of most Salman films considering it had generated huge buzz in the overseas market as well. Continuing the dream run film did an exceptional 27.31 crores. Before this Bajrangi Bhaijaan was the biggest hit of Salman’s career but Tiger surpassed those numbers without a hitch. First film in the franchise by the name of Ek Tha Tiger was released in 2012 and at that time became the biggest hit of Hindi cinema. Directed by prolific Kabir Khan, Ek Tha Tiger’s sequel was helmed by Sultan famed director Ali Abbas Zafar.

Ali and Salman are working on a film together by the name of Bharat which will hit the screens on EID 2019. Mammoth success of Tiger is screaming for a part 3, which should be announced in not so distant future. Salman has become the go to guy for sequels as his doing part 3 of Race, part 3 of Dabangg and 2 days back he announced the part 2 of his 2014 blockbuster Kick to be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Salman is stopping at nothing to milk his stardom and cult status because when someone is on top, only way left is down. In totality Tiger Zinda Hai has collected 339.08 crores in India making it one of the biggest hit of all time in the history of Hindi cinema.
