Anil Kapoor took to micro blogging website and shared the information that shooting of his upcoming film ‘Race 3’ also starring Salman Khan has wrapped the final schedule. Shooting was going on in Abu Dhabi for the last leg as the cast was shooting extreme action stunts. Race franchise is known for it’s stylistically designed action set pieces which mostly involve cars ramming into each other at great speed. This is biggest part of the franchise in terms of budget and ambition of scale to make it look like legit international thrillers.
Producer Ramesh Taurani managed to get Salman Khan in the film and Jacqueline Fernandez as well to get maximum people in the theaters. Salman is one of the biggest star in the country right now and has major command over box office which guarantees immense returns if the film is liked by the audience. Salman has had a flop in 2017 by the name of ‘Tubelight’ and even that earned 117 crores on the box office but did not stand on the expectations from the trade and fans as well. Later that year around Christmas, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ released and broke the box office with it’s maniacal collections around the world especially in the domestic circuit.
In past 6 years Salman has only two flops including ‘Jai Ho’ and even that made over a 100 crores which exemplifies the fact that he is invincible on the ticket window and guarantees a certain number of audience which will only increase if the content is liked. Anil Kapoor is coming back for his role which he is portraying since the first film and has been hugely appreciated for it. Salman’s ‘Jai Ho’ co-star Daisy Shah is also here to play an important role in the film with Saqib Saleem also joining the franchise in his rapidly growing career.
