Saif Ali Khan’s Baazaar to release on 28 April

Saif Ali Khan’s Baazaar to release on 28 April

Bazaar stars Saif Ali Khan, Chitrangda Singh, Radhika Apte and debutant Rohan Mehra as primary cast of the film. Baazaar is written by Nikhil Advani, who has made Kal Ho Naa Ho, Salaam-E-Ishq, D- Day and a couple of other films. Director of the film is Gauravv Chawla and it is largely based on the corrupt and criminal part of stock market. Baazaar will be Saif’s second release this year after Kaalakaandi which is releasing on 12 January. Saif Ali Khan has played some dark and raunchy characters in his career such as Langda Tyagi in Omkara and his character in Rangoon.

Baazaar will also explore the negative dark side of Saif’s performance. Saif might just be in the worst phase of his career now his stardom is not proving worth anything to pull up the cinema theaters. His film Chef, which received generous response from the critic is a disastrous flop with collections less than 7 crores because nobody bothered to come to the cinema and watch Saif Ali Khan led film in the first place. Saif really needs to get his mojo back and Kaalakaandi might just prove to be the one his career is looking for but Chef was not bad either.

Saif Ali desperately wants some people getting excited for his film due to content or his stardom which is seemingly not there anymore. Saif just shows up in the media almost everyday because of his 1 year old son Taimur and that can not be a good sign for anybody’s stardom. Saif has been making movies for quarter of a century now and still does not seem to have a loyal fan base who would at least turn up for his film. Saif is headlining Netflix’s series Scared Games which is directed by Vikram Aditya Motwane, it can be a make or break for Saif’s career as far as playing the lead is concerned.
