Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddique starrer ‘Sacred Games’ trailer is rigidly gritty

Makers of Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Radhika Apte starrer ‘Sacred Games’ have come out with a phenomenal new intriguing trailer which deals with suburbian crime of Mumbai. Saif plays a very ordinary cop in the series who gets a call from Nawaz’s character revealing him the fact that Mumbai city will end in 25 days and it’s only Saif who can save it. There is a lot of suspense in the film with the thrill which never lets the audience know the entire plot because they will be seeing the story as Saif’s character gets the information.

Nawaz was seen in two different age groups as he is playing an older man who happens to know Saif’s father while another one is a much younger notorious gangster. Surveen Chawla will also be playing an important role in this as she was a part of Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Ugly’. Dialogues were rather cliche’ and have not been given enough focus considering the fact that this is an adapted novel by Vikram Chandra. Series seems to be shot very realistically without much color correction in the post though these cameras seem extraordinary with their clarity of footage.

This is officially Netflix’s first original in India and with the right guys who sit in Phantom office. Anurag Kashyap and Vikram Aditya Motwane both serve as directors to this series. Budget is massive and Saif has never looked this sincere before because above all Netflix has the widest possible audience in this world of entertainment. Vikram has just released his much acclaimed superhero film ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ which has garnered great reviews but could not do anything important on the box office. Kashyap has just wrapped the production of his upcoming ‘Manmarziyan’. The series will start airing on Netflix from 6 July and number of episodes will be revealed later.
