Telugu superstar and now global icon Bahubali Prabhas and his fans need to be complimented on their patience. The actor’s dedication has already been spoken about, but what goes unnoticed is his fans’ dedication towards him. After all, his commitment to the Bahubali franchise, deprived his fans of seeing him in any other film for the last 5 years. But as they say, patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet and nothing tastes sweeter than massive success. The fans of the actor are in for a double treat this Friday. Not only will they get to witness Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali in all their glory on the big screen, but they will also get a sneak peek into the actor’s next project, Saaho, the teaser of which is attached to Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion.
The makers of the project, Hyderabad based UV Creations, released the teaser of the film on youtube on Thursday. One look at the modern, cutting edge teaser and you would want to experience it on the silver screen. Take a look :

Saaho is being directed by Telugu filmmaker Sujeeth Reddy. The teaser does full justice to the film that has been labelled as an ambitious high tech action drama by its makers. It oozes global appeal with its ultra modern vibe and visual effects. Prabhas has just one dialogue towards the end of the teaser and that is sufficient to intrigue the viewer. His hair cropped short after 5 years of Baahubali’s long locks is a welcome relief.
The film is being made on a grand budget of 150 crores and the hunt for the lead actress opposite Prabhas is still on, with rumours doing the rounds that the makers want a leading lady from Bollywood to be in the film to make the film viable across all regions in the country and not just the south. While all this is just speculation, we will keep you posted on all updates on that front.
Saaho will most likely hit theatres in 2018.
