Golmaal Again or Golmaal 4 , the fourth movie in director Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal franchise has been one of the most anticipated films of the year ever since it was announced. According to various trade websites the trailer of the film is all set to be released on 21st September and fans of the comic franchise are elated. Golmaal Again will be this year’s Diwali release and will be clashing at the box office with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar. The cast of Golmaal Again includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever with new additions like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Parineeti Chopra and Tabu.
The first film in the franchise, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited released in 2006 and received a warm reception at the box office which tempted the makers to turn it into a full-fledged franchise. We have seen other leading ladies like Rimi Sen and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the previous Golmaal films and this time Parineeti Chopra will be seen as the female lead in the fourth installment Golmaal Again. Sharman Joshi is seen missing from the otherwise consistent star cast.
Actor Arshad Warsi recently shared an image from the sets of the film when the shooting came to an end. He wrote, “AND IT’S A WRAP…4th time around and the ride keeps getting crazier & crazier.”

Rohit Shetty, as a filmmaker has always been underrated and dismissed as a director who just blows up cars on screen again and again. So speaking to an English daily recently, he said that he is on a ‘detox’ in Golmaal Again and is taking a break from blowing up cars but the film will follow the same path of fun and celebration like the previous installments in the franchise, keeping the story and characters simple. He also said, Golmaal Again has the most amount of CGI compared to his previous films as he was trying to make it as children friendly as possible with a Disney-like vibe.
