Makers of Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ are revealing new promotional creatives from the film everyday which is a good way for marketing. Ranbir’s look as Sanjay Dutt from the 80’s has been revealed and Rajkumar Hirani has got it on point. Sanjay Dutt’s visual imagery has been very prevalent from the 80’s as this is the time when he started his career and his first film ‘Rocky’ came out. The period was a big time struggle for Dutt because he was heavily addicted to drugs and had to be taken to America in order to remove the habits from him.

Ranbir is wearing a suit and looking very sober with his look of an innocent boy. Ranbir as an actor could always pull off many looks in her career and he has attempted to do so in films like ‘Barfi’, where he donned 4 different faces in a single narrative. Ranbir is playing 6 shades of Dutt which all belong from many aspects of his life. It is nearly as good as playing 6 varied characters because Dutt as a man did very different kind of things and got in various troubles.

Basically Ranbir is playing a drug addict, an alcoholic, a womanizer and a convictecd criminal all in one film. Moreover he needs to0 have the heart of a son, a brother and a husband in heart through the entire hoo-ka-hoo of life. Rajkumar Hirani has always been very interested in the human story of Dutt’s life that involves his relation with father and a friend. Dutt’s life as an alleged gangster has been touched upon clearly but in less detail than his emotional time in jail and struggle with personal life. Paresh Rawal is portraying Sunil Dutt while Manisha Koirala will be seen as Nargis Dutt and Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt.
