Rajkumar Rao starrer ‘Omerta’ poster out and he is the target!

Rajkumar Rao took to micro blogging website and shared the first official poster of ‘Omerta’ in which he is playing the role of a terrorist Omar Sheikh. Raj Rao has shared a character picture in the morning and wrote that it is the most difficult role he has played by far in his entire career which already has quite a few massively intense characters. Trailer of the film will be out in two days and it will hit the cinema screens on 20 April, 2018.

Film was premiered in film festivals such as Toronto and MAMI in Mumbai upon which it received great reactions and accolades from all. Venture is directed by Hansal Mehta with whom Raj has done his fourth film by the name of Omerta. Raj’s careers big break was a film called ‘Shahid’ in which he played the role of a human rights lawyer Shahid Azmi and won a national award for it. Shahid was directed by Hansal and it launched a super successful filmography of Raj. Post Shahid they collaborated on ‘Citylights’ which was a story of a lower class man and is struggle to strive in a big city like Mumbai which eventually takes him on the route of crime.

Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh was born on 23 December 1973 is a British terrorist of Pakistani descent who is currently imprisoned for life as his sentence by the judge was death, commuted to life imprisonment. He has been charged with many crimes but more famously for kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Omar’s terrorist links was with many organisations as he was considered the master mind in terrorist world during late 90’s and early 2000’s. Saeed is currently kept in Karachi prison in Pakistan and has attempted suicide in 2014 but was caught by the guards before he could be successful at it.
