Legendary actress Sridevi passed away at the age of 54 in Dubai because of cardiac arrest. She was there for the wedding of Mohit Marwah but at around 11-11:30 in the night she suffered a massive heart attack in the hospital and never recovered from that. Sridevi’s last full fledged acting job was in ‘Mom’ in 2017, where her character decided to take vendetta from the rapists of her daughter. Sridevi has been coined as the biggest female superstar of all time in the history of Indian cinema, which is a 100 years old.
Many film celebrities expressed their grief on the demise. Kamal Haasan has made a very memorable film with her by the name of Sadma in 1983, which played a vital role in both of their respective careers.
Have witnessed Sridevi's life from an adolescent teenager to the magnificeint lady she became. Her stardom was well deserved. Many happy moments with her flash through my mind including the last time I met her. Sadma's lullaby haunts me now. We'll miss her

Almost entire Indian film industry is sending condolences to the family because Sridevi has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Mlayalam and Kannada extensively over decade before she temporarily left the films in 1997 and later came back in 2012. In 2015 she did her last Tamil film by the name of ‘Puli’ which starred Vijay in the lead role and she played a character called Queen Yavanarani.
She has worked with superstars from all walks of life including Rajinikanth who was quite grief striken with the sad news and wrote.
I’m shocked and very disturbed. I’ve lost a dear friend and the industry has lost a true legend. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I feel the pain with them #RIPSridev … you will be missed.

Her demise came as quite a shock to everyone because she was only 54 years old and seemed perfectly healthy and fit. She had no major disease of any kind which could have been life threatening and hours before the cardiac arrest she was dancing in the wedding and having a great time with her extended family. Wording her sadness Alia Bhatt expressed her feelings on twitter.
Nothing makes sense. I have no words.. just completely shocked. RIP Sri Devi. My icon forever. Love you.
