Rajinikanth applauds Supreme court’s intervention in Karnataka state politics

Rajinikanth is totally in the favor of BJP chief minister BS Yeddyurappa resigning from the position in Karnataka. Rajini said that he is glad about supreme court intervening in between as the governor’s decision of giving 15 whole days to prove the majority. “It was not proper on the part of the governor in giving 15 days to the ruling party to prove majority. Hats off to the Supreme Court for its intervention. My pranams to it,” said Rajinikanth. Rajini had a productive meeting with the women wing members of Rajini Makkal Mandram. “The Karnataka government, whichever party comes to power, should implement the Supreme Court orders on the Cauvery water in its full letter and spirit. Let us not get into the technicalities of whether it is going to be an authority or a board. The court has given a clear ruling,” he said.

“The Karnataka government, whichever party comes to power, should implement the Supreme Court orders on the Cauvery water in its full letter and spirit. Let us not get into the technicalities of whether it is going to be an authority or a board. The court has given a clear ruling, When I am yet to launch my political party, no purpose will be served in talking about prospective alliances,” he said. Rajini clearly seemed unhappy with BJP in Karnataka as the drama unfolded even more for 15 long days.

Rajini is eyeing the Lok Sabha elections of 2021 in Tamil Nadu for the position of chief minister and so is his arch-rival Kamal Haasan, who went to meet the chief minister of Karnataka. Rajini and Kamal are both contesting for the same seat hence taking part in political activities. Kamal is extensively campaigning for his political party while Rajini is taking it slow in order to also complete his film commitments.
