Race 3 movie review: Salman Khan is battling it out with another level of nonsense

One does not really expect Salman Khan films to be critically acclaimed in anyway whatsoever but it just goes wildly beyond the imagination. Either this film is a revolution in cinema where nobody can understand it’s genius just yet or something is pathetically wrong. Abbas Mustan have their way of twisting the narrative in the middle of it without making sure that there is any context but Remo just made it dull. Salman’s presence in the film marks the fact that juice of deceit will just flow out of the game because everybody knows that Salman will never end up being the negative character.

Makers this time focused very less on the planning/plotting aspect of it but decided to run the length of the film by involving a lot of action. There are four major action set pieces executed with utmost scale but lack of creativity. Template wide shots and background explosion behind the heroes is done all too much but Remo does not seem to have the qualification to come up with avant garde shots. He had to complete a big film on time which is why perhaps the VFX does not appeal to the eyes instead looks quite unreal.

Salman’s performance is quite good as he makes his presence felt with delivery of very bad dialogues. Anil Kapoor is the most charming man in all of Hindi cinema but not so much in this film. Saqib Saleem looked desperate to seize the opportunity of an important role which is why he could not keep any of his expressions subtle. Bobby Deol is in for an another inning and might go down well for him. Jacqueline Fernandez should pretty much stick to dancing and let the body double act. Daisy Shah will perhaps be on yet another break after this. Overall one should keep the expectations low but people are gonna see it anyways.
