Raag Desh Movie – Will convey the real meaning of Patriotism

Raag Desh, Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming movie, based on the famous Indian National Army, i.e., INA  trials in Second World War era. Raag Desh casts comprise Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Mohit Marwah in the lead roles. The film is produced by Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV) and is one of the most anticipated movies this year.

Raag Desh  film is a presentation   of the great but forgotten section of India’s contemporary olden times. It is a tale of Indian National Army (INA) of Subhash Chandra Bose. It captures the ecstasy of INA, its travails and efforts and brings on the cinema screens an unspeakable story of the Indian freedom struggle.

Raag Desh is the story of 3 chief officials of the INA that is Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon, Colonel Prem Sehgal, and Major General Shah Nawaz Khan, who were detained and locked up at the Lal Quila (Red Fort). The movie is a gripping account of their trial by the British government which is prominently recognised as The Red Fort Trials — the trials that lastly established that the British would have to quit India.

Following the trailer launch of Raag Desh movie at Parliament house Raag Desh movie screened for President Pranab Mukherjee as well as  Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari at Rashtrapati Bhawan’s auditorium. The president and the vice president met the star cast of Raag Desh earlier than the screening began and watched the movie for a few minutes.
