It was a glamorous star- studded night at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2017 held at the PAP ground in Jalandhar, Punjab last evening. The ceremony recognized the best of the year’s talent in Punjabi cinema which includes the best actors, artists and technicians. The winners in the popular category are chosen on the basis of public votes, where as there are also 4 categories of critic awards. All the who’s who of the Punjabi entertainment industry gathered under one roof for a memorable night of fun and frolic. Mahie Gill, Prince Narula, Yograj Singh, Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi, Sukhshinder Shinda, Resham Singh Anmol, Satinder Satti and Divya Dutta were among the celebrities who graced the red carpet.

The artists for the evening who entertained the audience and set the stage ablaze with their performances were Mika Singh along with Kirti Arnjeja performing to their latest hit ‘Jogi’, rapper Badshah, the Gulabi queen Jasmine Sandlas and Prince Narula among others.

The surprise guests for the evening were Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon who are the leading pair of the upcoming hindi film Raabta. They were present at the award ceremony to promote their film and looked stunning on the red carpet. Sushant was dressed in black while Kriti looked pretty in white, complimenting each other.
