When all the Bollywood celebrities are happy heading to New York for the IIFA awards, there is one actress who loved to give a miss at the event and preferred to be at home and she is no other than the Bollywood turned Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka, who was last seen on-screen in her maiden Hollywood venture “Baywatch”, returned to India on Thursday.
“It never gets old. Being home. Mumbai rains. The beauty in the chaos. Happy to be back in my city. ‘Mumbaikar’,” tweeted Priyanka, who is usually in the US for her American show “Quantico” or Hollywood projects. The “Barfi!” actress will be seen alongside Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam Devine in “Isn’t It Romantic?”, under the direction of Todd Strauss-Schulson.
She will also be seen in Jim Parsons-starrer “A Kid Like Jake”. Although, the actress who debuted with the movie Baywatch in the Hollywood industry, has two other projects in her schedule. The actress was also recently spotted on the sets of Isn’t It Romantic which will mark to be her third movie in the Hollywood industry. In the film, she co-stars with Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth. Priyanka is also part of American television show Quantico.
If we talk about Priyanka’s last Bollywood movie, then we get to know that Gangaajal was the last movie that she worked in, in the year 2016. As per the latest reports, Priyanka also signed Gustakhiyan which is a Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie. In the movie, Priyanka will be seen playing the role of a writer-poetess Amrita Pritam.
