Prabhudeva will direct Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg 3’

Salman Khan starrer blockbuster cop franchise Dabangg is waiting to get a third part and it finally found the director by the name of Prabhudeva, who will be handling the task. Dabangg was released in 2010 and became a monstrous hit and also a rage in the mass audience due to which it has become one of the most quoted Hindi films of 21st century and second only to Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’. Salman left no stone unturned to make sure that he cashes on the mania of part one and hence released ‘Dabangg 2’ in 2012.

Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Kashyap, who did not return for the sequel hence producer Arbaaz Khan took the command and sat on the director’s chair while also performing the role of Salman’s younger stepbrother Makhan Chand Pandey. Dabangg 2 was not as well received by the critics because it mostly mirrored the narrative of first one but became a huge blockbuster on the box office which almost made the part 3 an inevitable proposition. After searching for a long time Director/choreographer Prabhudeva is roped into be the taskmaster as he has a lot of experience in making potential heartland blockbusters.

Salman Khan is one of the biggest action star in the world right now but it was not the case in 2000’s where his career took an ultimate downfall and people said that he is done with. Salman has delivered a hit in years and half the industry has written him off because audience was not showing a lot of faith in me but in 2009, he released an action movie called ‘Wanted’ in which he was disguised as a gangster but originally turned out to be a cop on the mission. Wanted was a phenomenal blockbuster and resurrected the career of Salman Khan into a legendary superstar. Wanted was directed by Prabhudeva.
