Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi breaks Baahubali’s record

Power star Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi has started breaking records despite of the bad reports of the film. Agnyaathavaasi has a unique record to itself film has city gross in Chennai for Day 1. Baahubali 2’s opening in Chennai Day 1 was 14 lacs and surpassing it was Young Tiger NTR Junior’s Jai Lava Kusa making 16 lacs. Agnyaathavaasi is destined to be a blockbuster even if it is not good because the fans are aware of Kalyan’s decision of wanting to quit films asap and get to politics. Mahesh Babu’s Spyder broke Jai Lava Kusa’s record and made 18 lacs on Day 1 in Chennai.

Surpassing them all is power star’s Agnyaathavaasi as it collected 24 lacs on Day 1 Chennai making it the highest grosser in that respect. Reports of Agnyaathavaasi are bad as this film is worse than usual routine ones even more pathetic than Sardar Gabbar Singh. It does not seem as if Kalyan is even reading the script maybe he is just sleep walking through these films so that he can just get over with it and get to politics. Despite of breaking this bizarre record Agnyaathavaasi would be forgettable when the history of cinema will be written and so will be Kalyan.

Someone like Kalyan can use his star power and contribute to cinema by taking on either very exciting projects like Aamir Khan or giving a thrilling cinema ride like Mahesh Babu’s Spyder but he is hell bent on doing exactly what he has been doing for a million years. Agnyaathavaasi could just be the final nail in Kalyan’s career which is more like a coffin now. In any other industry in the world he would not have made it in the first place or clearly would not have survived which such lazy attempts into film making and a performance that bad. He should be eternally grateful to his fans for putting up with him god knows why.
