Parmanu, directed by Abhishek Sharma and starring John Abraham, Diana Penty, and Boman Irani is finally going to be released on May 25 2018, after getting mired in controversy with the production house Kriarj Entertainment, over the allegations of regarding cheating, breach of trust, defamation and offenses under the Information Technology Act. Prernaa Arora had also accused John of mental harassment. However, now it seems that both parties have resolved the conflict successfully and the movie is going to see the light of day soon. Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions that was conducted by the Indian army at Pokhran in 1998.
A compelling trailer had been released previously but it got into trouble when it was taken off air because of the still going on conflict, but now that everything has been take care of, there will surely be more promotional material from the movie is going to come out soon.
The story of the movie is very compelling and the first look was praised for its authenticity and the visuals, while also commending the intensity of the actors. Abhishek Sharma has directed Tere Bin Laden, and its sequel Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive. He is also going to direct Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer in the upcoming movie, The Zoya Factor.
