Parmanu box office collection: John Abraham starrer maintained the momentum on box office

Parmanu starring John Abraham as an IAS officer suffered a great deal of release issues due to conflicts between producers. As a result of that film had to be released without any promotions which hammered the possibility of greater box office. 2018 is proving to be a p0henomenal year at the box office with films working in cinemas in opposition to being seen on TV due to the higher content rate. Parmanu got a lot of love from people who saw it but unfortunately it is not as big of a number as it could have been.

John is coming right off two bad films by the name of ‘Force 2’ and ‘Rocky Handsome’, which were suppose to be the biggest commercial blockbusters but turned out to be major disappoints for fans. John had nearly lost his credibility as an actor but he regained it from this wonderful film. Parmanu nearly lost it’s box office to ‘Veere Di Wedding’ but thankfully got it back on the second weekend and garnered 2.05 crores on Friday. As Saturday went by the collections of the film increased to 3.56 crores closed a whooping 4.53 crores on Sunday. Content of the film is working big time but if Alia Bhatt led ‘Raazi’ crossed 100 crores than this one also should have done better than now.

As of yet the film has banked 45.55 crores and is racing towards the 50 crore mark which would make it a hit for certain. John has produced ‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Madras Cafe’ and now Parmanu which totally reflect of his film taste as a producer. John has done a few unbashed entertainers but also provided his support to as match as he could through out his career with films like ‘Paani’ and ‘Kabul Express’. In the larger scheme of things Parmanu is a success already.
