Paritosh Tripathi back on ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’ (TV Snippets)

Actor Paritosh Tripathi will be back as the host of the upcoming second season of dance based reality show “Super Dancer Season 2”.

He says he is eager to start shooting for the show, to be aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

“I am feeling very nostalgic and my heart is pumping faster. It’s very hard to express the feeling of coming back home and ‘Super Dancer’ has been more than a home to me. It is an exciting moment to be on that stage,” Paritosh said in a statement.

“I am eagerly awaiting to play my famous character ‘Mama’ again. I want to thank the channel for trusting me again and giving me the opportunity to be a part of this show,” he added.

Paritosh’s avatar as ‘TRP Mama’ was loved by all the judges.

Actress Shilpa Shetty, ace choreographer Geeta Kapur and filmmaker Anurag Basu will return as judges in the second season of the show. Paritosh will host with Rithvik Dhanjani. The show will go on air on September 30.

Hemant Thatte joins ‘Mere Sai’

Actor Hemant Thatte, known for shows “Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki” and “Sanskaar.. Dharohar Apnon Ki!”, has joined the cast of upcoming TV show “Mere Sai”.

“I am very much happy and excited shooting for ‘Mere Sai’. I am open for every powerful roles and the characters that are written for giving social messages,” Hemant said in a statement.

“It makes me feel fortunate,” he added.

Hemant will play the character of ‘Appa Patil’ in the Sony Entertainment Television show, which will air from September 25.

Rohit Sharma wants to go negative on TV

Actor Rohit Sharma, known for shows like “Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki”, “Sadda Haq” and “Aye Zindagi”, wants to play a negative role.

“I always want to do negative roles as they are challenging and keep your character fashionable and in the loop. I am keen of doing roles like John Abraham, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan did in ‘Dhoom’ and its sequels or Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Darr’,” Rohit said in a statement.

Talking about his journey in the industry, Rohit said: “I remember my first audition for Balaji Telefilms at Sankraman studio. I was so nervous that even after reading the script for hours I returned home without giving the audition. It wasn’t easy to get a break for a show with them with ‘Kasam…’.”

Jayashree Venkataramanan’s fun Haryanvi experience

Actress Jayashree Venkataramanan says she enjoyed the whole process of wearing Haryanvi clothes for a sequence in TV show “Hum Paanch Phir Se”.

The entire cast of the show was seen donning different avatars for one of the episodes of the show.

“The entire cast of the show was dressed in different religion attires. Sweety donned the Gujarati look, while Kajal bhai was seen in Haryanvi avatar followed by Bina Mathur as Bengali, Raadhika as Punjabi, Meenakshi as Maharashtrian and cute choti as a South Indian,” said a source.

“For the first time ever in the show I looked different. The tomboyish attire that I don in the show was changed to typical Haryanvi woman look and I thoroughly enjoyed the change,” Jayashree, who plays the role of Kajal in the show, said in a statement.

The show is aired on BIG Magic.
