Makers of Padmaavat have released their second dialogue promo today and this one show cases blossoming of romance between Queen Padmini and Maharawal Ratan Singh played by Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor respectively. The teaser starts with first fierce meeting of Padmini and Ratan Singh and their love equation since than. Khilji did not have a role to play in this teaser as he did in last one displaying macho-ism at it’s peak. The promo has some extraordinary looking shots as the Bhansali visuals are something to live and die by.
By the end of the teaser the attacking queen attitude of Padmini was displayed as she channelizes her anger against Khilji. Padmini says that one way will be waged by Ratan Singh and one more will be played in Chittorgarh by the fearless ladies of the fort. During this time Padmini is talking about performing Jauhar if Khilji attacks as the nature of Khilji’s win did not only depend on him cutting the throat of the king but his soldiers would rape and loot the entire city they have conquered. Khilji is being displayed as one beast of a person in this film and Karni Sena should be happy.
As far as the disrespect against Rajput community is concerned, it is not showing in the nature of this film at all but on the contrary it is showcasing Rajputs as fierce and fearless warriors against the wrath of Khilji. That might be the reason why CBFC did not bat an eye after actually watching the film and passed it right away with an U/A certificate. The teasers are breaking the internet and that could be the reason why highly confident makers of Padman who would not shift their film come what may have now decided to move their film to 9 February and finally have their clash with Aiyaary which seemed destined.
