Padmaavat expected to become Sanjay Bhansali’s biggest hit

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial epic Padmaavat is on the verge of becoming his career biggest hit which will be nothing short of magic since the film is not even released in four major states of India. In totality Padmaavat has banked 166.50 crores in India and it is expected that the film will cross lifetime business of Bajirao Mastani by the end of second week. Released in 2015 Bajirao Mastani was the biggest hit of both Bhansali’s and Ranveer Singh’s career though it did not open as well as Padmaavat.

On a non holiday Padmaavat opened to 19 crores despite of bans and incredible violent protests which includes burning the cinema theaters and throwing petrol bombs inside the running show. Success of Padmaavat has restored a part of piece in humanity which declares that there will always be people opposing one but if the intentions are honest than there will be more people supporting you and this sis exactly what the world has showcased in the case of Padmaavat. Violent and radical groups were constantly threatening and damaging property but people of this nation went on to see this great piece of art and in many numbers.

By the end of it’s second week run Padmaavat would have crossed Bajirao Mastani, which earned that sum of money in about 5 weeks. Padmaavat is doing extraordinary business in foreign lands dethroning biggest of Hindi film blockbusters like Dhoom 3 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Padmaavat opened to the maximum number of figures for a Hindi film in North America, which is a huge market. People have travelled states to watch this film in cinema halls, it is also the first Hindi film of all time to be released in IMAX 3D format worldwide and did exceptional business with housefull shows despite of expensive ticket price. Padmaavat is on a golden run even without a 1000 theaters, collections would have been mammoth with all the screens in this country.
